PP Compound is made of polypropylene (PP) resin mixed with various additives and reinforcements in specific formulas to meet characteristics of each end product. Siddh Chemiplast offers a series of PP compounds, includ- ing: PP glass fiber compound (PP-GF) PP glass bead compound (PP-GB) PP talc powder compound (PP-TALC) PP BaSO4 compound (PP-BaSO4 PP conductive compound (PP-Conductive) PP flame retardant compound (PP-FR) PP compound for laser marking
Thanks to the use of glass fiber as the reinforcement, PP-GF compound increases stiffness, reduces shrinkage, improves impact strength and enhances heat resistance of end products.
PP-TALC compound is reinforced with talc powder. This compound offers several benefits to end products, such as enhancing hardness, flexural modulus and flexural strength, increasing thermal durability, lifting facial stiffness and decreasing mold shrinkage.
PP-BASO4 is a combination of polypropylene (PP) resin, BaSO4 andspecific additives. It increases glossiness, stiffness and minimizes the level of shrinkage and thermal deformation of end products.
PP compound for laser marking is a combination of PP resin and laser marking additives. It helps end products to be easily laser printed.
PP-CONDUCTIVE is a mixture of polypropylene (PP) resin and carbon black conductive as the reinforcement. This material offers a higher level of stability compared to standard PP resin and accelerates end products’ conductivity.
The main components of PP-FR compound are polypropylene (PP) resin and halogen/non-halogen flame retardant. Depending on the customer’s requirements, PP-FR compound has different levels of flame retardancy according to UL94-standard, including: 5VA, 5VB, V0, V1, V2.
